Go-To Evening Smokey Eye Look - Simple, Subtle, and Sexy!

I did this post on a whim because I thought I'd let you all in on my go-to smokey eye for the evening. I like this look because it's simple to do, and it goes with any outfit. Plus, all but one of the products that are used are inexpensive brands, and the eyeshadows all come from the same Coastal Scents 88 original palette. For some reason, I always tend to wait last minute to start on my makeup before it's time to go out, and a look like this has helped me with being more efficient with my time.

"One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain'' ~Marley

Music has always played a big role in my life. Sometimes it's uncomfortable or even scary to verbally express exactly what you're feeling at the moment. Rather than suppressing your emotions, you can turn to music to gain comfort or fulfillment. It's always intriguing to me how expression through music can reach out to a wide range of people. Music really is capable of bringing people together. Whatever you're feeling right now, I guarantee you can find a song that you can relate to.

After I graduated college, my parents gave me one of the best gifts I had ever received... an acoustic guitar. I used to always mess around on my dad's electric guitar growing up, but always wanted a guitar to call my own. I basically learned different chords and full songs online, so I could play and sing for the fun of it. I am definitely still learning, and I'm not the best singer. I think if you're doing something that makes you happy, why stop?
I recently put up my first ever video on YouTube of a cover I did of James Arthur's version of Tulisa's song Young. He did such an amazing version of the song that I really wanted to try it out. I learned the song soon after I heard his version, and I know mine's pretty rough by comparison, but I truly had a fun time doing it. I'm definitely going to still keep at educating myself on the guitar. It's such a beautiful instrument.
